Programs Below is
information on how to sign up for the Hapkido
/Self-Defense program though the area of Continuing Education at
Liberty University.
What will this course teach me?:
This course will focus on self-defense training utilizing Hapkido defensive
techniques. These techniques are effective for both young and old, male and
female. This course also teaches how to use a cane and other common
implements to defend yourself.
Will I get credit for attending this class?:
This class is not for academic credit. This is for personal knowledge.
(Faculty/staff or local residents may be attending the class to earn 1 hour of
Continuing Education Units.)
When is this course?: Beginning May 13th
and ending August 7th, this class will meet Tuesday and Thursday nights from
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Where will the course meet?:
In the Schilling Center Activity Room, which is located on the second floor, on
the end closest to the Vines center.
Cost: $100 payable by cash, check, or credit
card (*payment is non-refundable)
**Additionally, students are
required to have a uniform, cane, and ICHF membership. These items are
available from the instructor.
How to sign up:
By email – Put “Hapkido course” in subject line and include
full name, phone number, and mailing address in body of message. (CC payment can
be made over the phone by calling 1-434-582-2408.)
In person* (preferred): CASAS in DeMoss Hall room 2016.
Where/when do I pay?: Tuesday April
through Tuesday, June in CASAS (Second floor of the DeMoss Hall).
